samfloyd: (by SamFloyd) Just as I would never think Star Trek and Star Wars should be a versus issue (I grew up watching both, it was never competition, they were both household staples) I have never participated in a Nikon vs Canon debate. I use nikon, but I thoroughly enjoyed using the 5d mark ii as well. Great cameras are great cameras.  Real photographers understand that it’s not what you have, it’s what you do with what you have. I heard the most stupid debate about Nikon vs. Canon and someone dared to say you could be more “artsy and creative and you have more control” with a Nikon and with a Canon “you get what you see”… WTF does that even mean? I’ve never seen great artists limited to what brand they use to produce their medium.
